To protest against the social oppressions I have long endured, an attempt to discover sexuality that has long been veiled.

Clumsy nude female figures are portrayed as fast-moving, arbitrary, short-lived, and culturally repulsive, scuttling against elaborate weavings—traditionally considered women’s work.
